This channeled transmission was prompted by a friend's question, which I took into meditation. It focuses on how we can move out of judgment of ourselves and others.
Let us begin. The question, then, is how to release yourself from judgment. We known as Seth step forward now to answer this divinely aligned query.
Releasing yourself from judgment is a snap. The question is whether you will choose to put your finger on the release and push down; in other words, where you will place the weight of your focus and attention. Will your finger slide off before you apply your full weight? It is easy to let things slide, to get distracted, to take your foot off the pedal, so to speak, before the release is complete.
Once your full weight, or attention, is applied, however, SNAP! You can feel the release of the tension and grasping of the snare of judgment. You have just set yourself free from the trap that has been so carefully laid by your mind in hopes of catching what it views as “another,” as the “enemy,” a threat to its survival at some (deeper) level. Are they a threat, as the mind would have you believe? Are you in imminent danger? This is an old program laid down through the millennia which no longer serves. It no longer offers the promise of freedom to the enlightened mind. It is, in fact, the very trap itself.
Judgment pulls you up, out of your power and sacred heart, much like the carefully camouflaged snare traps used in jungle warfare, lurking on the ground for any unsuspecting passerby who is not paying attention. The mind will go there just like that, and before you know it, you are hanging upside-down by your ankles, suspended in the tall, tall tree tops and calling out for help.
This predicament can be avoided by not traversing that particular path in the first place. There are many paths available to you, and you can choose to take the one less traveled by—that of peace and understanding—from the outset. Realize, dear one, that this is a CHOICE. Knowing that in itself is freeing and will increase your awareness and therefore the number of paths available to you in any given moment.
However, we understand your predicament, and, once down that path of undesirable judgement, hanging by your ankles in only your skivvies, there is no turning tail and running from the situation. The best way to release yourself from the snare of the mind at that point is to take a breath, re-center yourself in your heart, and re-elvauate whether the threat you perceived as so real is in fact real or false. Ask yourself: does this thought ensnare me or set me free? Does this thought open or close my heart? How much love is available to me now, or how much is pinched off, constricted by the mind?
The release is in your hands; it always has been. All you have to do is pull the handy dandy pocket knife out of your pocket and cut the ties that bind you. These are MENTAL ties. They are not heart strings, not cords connected to peace, love, harmony, or joy—qualities of your true nature. They are the ropes that tie you up, the cords that bind you. You cut them by pausing, realizing where you are and what resources you have at your disposal, and then applying them—using your will power and the grace that runs through you, tapping into your heart space—CONNECTING with your heart— and seeing the fallacies of the mind’s stories, its tall tales and the ego’s valiant attempts to protect…...WHO?
There is no one here to protect. Just an open heart now, allowing all of these thoughts, all of these feelings to flow through and illuminate the truth of your Being, and the truth of that beingness is that you are ONE with all. No separation.
The snare trap is a mental one, and it only catches the false self in its attempts to run and hide; not the true self, which is ever steady and connected to all of humanity. THESE—the true self’s ties— are the real cords that bind, and they are no trap. They are your ties to the collective, and it is your business to uplift and up-llow the heart of the collective. As you shine your own heart light, free of judgment, you do just that, and the collective heart is shined up, polished, and glows for ALL.
